Virginia Lee Rose Elementary School is a 71,700 square foot facility that houses: an administration/library building, multi-purpose room, four classroom wings, and a preschool building. Central to the campus is a large amphitheater with a separate raised outdoor stage to provide multiple layout options for various outdoor events. Each classroom has been designed with a lockable cabinet to store and charge the learning tablets. In addition, WiFi and multiple connection points were provided to allow maximum flexibility. Technology advances were prepared for by adding conduit stubs and backing for future monitors to ensure the campus stays current with the latest educational teaching methods.

Outside of every classroom building are outdoor learning spaces designed with granite learning walls to continue the class outside or to have another breakout space for various lessons. The MPR contains a large music room with two practice rooms, a food court, kitchen and a 1,100 square foot stage. The library has been designed with a large cushioned reading nook, multiple seating options for the kids and plenty of shelving for the books. There is also a spacious computer lab with a large collaboration space to allow separate lessons to occur simultaneously.
