Dinuba Vocational Center

Owner: City of Dinuba
Size: 42,000 Square Feet
Completion: 2003
Final Cost: $4.2 Million

S.I.M. Architects designed this 42,000 sq. ft., two-story Vocational Training Center for the City of Dinuba. The project, located in the historic downtown area, is anchoring an urban revitalization program as the educational component. The building’s architecture integrates elements of several existing downtown buildings. The result is a modern, high-tech facility on the inside that maintains the character of the downtown on the outside. The center, largely funded by a federal EDA Grant, houses classrooms, computer labs, vocational shops, administration, and a career center. It provides job and basic skills training, as well as job placement and career counseling services.
