Ian’s entire professional career has been in the field of architecture for education and he has extensive experience in long-range master planning, facility condition assessments, programming/pre-planning, design and construction administration of a large number of projects. Since 1979, Ian has participated in and led educational programs with bond/construction values ranging from $20,000,000 to over $525,000,000.

Ian’s individual projects have spanned a diverse array of project types including all configurations of primary and secondary learning facilities, higher education buildings and campuses, ancillary and support facilities (administrative facilities, professional development/conference centers, technology centers, distance learning facilities), CTE and vocational curriculum centers, athletic and recreational facilities (stadia, natatoriums), etc. These projects have ranged from less than $100,000 to more than $112,000,000 in construction costs, and have consisted of new construction, additions, renovations and combinations of each. Ian presently serves on the boards of professional and educational associations and has made presentations on education topics both regionally and nationally.
